This Listing Policy governs sports business and event submissions on Listing Sports. It applies to members, owners, authorised representatives, event organisers and any person supplying information for a directory profile or event page.
Eligible Listings
Listing Sports accepts relevant sports businesses, academies, coaches, clubs, venues, facilities, services, organisations and events. A submission must relate meaningfully to sport, fitness or sports participation and must identify a real organisation, provider, venue or event.
Submitter Responsibilities
By submitting information, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to submit and request publication of the information;
- names, contact details, locations, dates, prices, services and claims are accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have permission to use submitted text, logos and images;
- the submission does not infringe another person’s rights or reveal personal data without authority;
- material changes will be corrected promptly; and
- you have read this policy and the Privacy Policy.
Editorial Review
Every submission may be checked for relevance, completeness, clarity, duplication, safety and supporting evidence. Submission does not guarantee approval, indexing, ranking, featured placement or continued publication. Listing Sports may edit formatting, request evidence, combine duplicates, apply a noindex status, suspend a profile or reject a submission.
Published profiles may identify whether information was supplied by a business, independently verified, editorially added or otherwise sourced. Listing Sports is a directory and does not certify, accredit or endorse a provider merely because it appears on the website.
Prohibited or Restricted Content
Listings must not contain unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, unsafe or infringing material. We may reject or restrict content involving impersonation, false accreditation, fabricated reviews, misleading pricing, guaranteed outcomes, unsafe sports or health claims, banned substances, unlicensed regulated activity, malware, spam, link manipulation or restricted gambling promotion.
Claims such as official recognition, affiliation, certification, awards or performance outcomes may require documentary or authoritative-source evidence.
Pricing, Promotions and Commercial Relationships
Any price, discount, sponsorship, affiliate relationship or paid promotion must be accurate and clearly disclosed. Advertisers or partners do not receive permission to control independent editorial conclusions. Featured or sponsored placement, if offered, will be labelled.
Events
Event organisers are responsible for current dates, venues, eligibility, registration terms, refunds, safety arrangements, permits and participant communications. Listing Sports may archive or remove expired, cancelled, unverifiable or materially changed events.
Corrections, Claims and Removal
Users and organisations can report inaccurate, unsafe, fraudulent, private or legally problematic information through the available reporting tools or by email. We may ask for identity, authority or supporting evidence before changing ownership-sensitive information. We aim to record and review corrections fairly but cannot promise a fixed resolution time.
Enforcement and Appeals
Possible actions include requesting edits, changing indexability, rejecting publication, suspending visibility, archiving, merging duplicates or removing content. A submitter may request reconsideration by providing a clear explanation and relevant evidence. Repeated or serious abuse may result in account restriction.
