Effective date: 28 September 2026

This policy explains how Listing Sports approaches obligations under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules as they come into force. It supplements the Privacy Policy. If a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable requirement will govern.

Scope and Roles

This policy applies when Listing Sports determines why and how personal data is processed for accounts, listings, events, articles, reports, communications, security and website operations. Service providers acting on our instructions may process data on our behalf.

Notice and Purpose

We aim to provide clear information about the personal data requested, the purpose for using it, whether a field is optional, relevant sharing and a contact route for questions. We limit processing to legitimate website purposes described in the notice or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Where consent is the applicable basis, the choice should be specific, informed and capable of withdrawal. Optional analytics is disabled until a visitor selects Accept analytics. Choosing Essential only does not block ordinary access to public pages. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate processing already completed lawfully and may not require deletion where another legal reason requires retention.

Data-Principal Rights

Subject to applicable law and identity verification, an individual may request information about processing, correction or completion of personal data, erasure of data no longer required, withdrawal of consent, or grievance redressal. Requests should identify the relevant account, submission or page and provide enough information for us to locate the data safely.

Grievance Redressal

Send a grievance to listingsports3@gmail.com with the subject Data Protection Grievance. Include your name, contact email, relevant page or account, the issue and the resolution requested. We may request additional information to verify identity or authority. If a grievance remains unresolved, other remedies available under applicable law may be used when those mechanisms are operational and applicable.

Children and Guardians

Listing Sports is not intended for children to create independent accounts or submit personal data without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Where verifiable parental or guardian consent is legally required, the relevant service should not be used until that authority is available. We do not knowingly use children’s data for behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising.

Data Processors and Transfers

Hosting, storage, security, communications and analytics providers may process data under our instructions. We seek to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and applicable transfer restrictions. We do not authorise processors to use submitted data for unrelated independent purposes.

Security Safeguards and Breach Response

We use reasonable access controls, password hashing, protected sessions, logging, backups and operational safeguards. When a personal-data breach is identified, we will assess its nature and impact, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, preserve relevant records and provide required notifications where applicable law requires them.

Retention and Erasure

Personal data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, security, disputes, records or applicable legal obligations. When retention is no longer required, data is deleted, anonymised or placed beyond ordinary use according to the relevant system and backup lifecycle.

Accuracy and Data Minimisation

We ask users to provide accurate, relevant and current information and avoid unnecessary sensitive data. Account holders and submitters should correct material changes promptly. Listing Sports may request evidence before changing ownership-sensitive or abuse-related records.

Accountability and Updates

We maintain this published policy as the current public version and may revise it as the service or applicable Indian data-protection requirements change. The effective date identifies the version associated with website notices and acknowledgements.
